Decomposition is the intriguing new track from French indie pop artist Orouni with a hypnotic, colourful video.

When I started watching the video for Decomposition I found I couldn’t take my eyes of it. The scrolling, colourful visualisation of the melody is explained by the artist’s synaesthesia, with the colours representing the chords in her mind.

Lyrically, Decomposition is cryptic and poetic. The arrangement is minimal and loose. This isn’t your typical pop song but I’m a sucker for anything that I can’t pigeon hole and felt I simply had to share this one with you. Check out the video below and decide for yourself.
