When we last shared a Little Triggers track, I’m Alright, they were playing as a four-piece. They’ve now shed two members, sharpened things up as a two-piece, and are back with a Bang.
By Graeme Smith
The new composition of the band inevitably draws comparisons to other hard rocking duos such as Death From Above 1979, Haggard Cat and Royal Blood. The comparison is warranted though, as they deliver the same kind of big, energetic sound of those bands. It’s difficult to do but Little Triggers does it well in Bang. They can be held in esteemed company.
The Liverpool band is about to embark on a UK tour with a stop off at Dive Bar in Hull on 29 February. If they’re as strong live as they are recorded, I highly recommend checking them out. Have a listen to Bang below.
