Tatum is a singer songwriter from South Africa whose raw and honest new single Fever caught my attention.

Fever tells the story of a toxic relationship through a simple piano arrangement and powerful vocal delivery. Tatum’s voice reminds me a little of Tori Amos, particularly in the track’s chorus, but with pop sensibilities.

Anyone who’s fallen in love with the wrong person will relate to Tatum’s honest account. She’s a strong storyteller with a strong voice. This is only her second single and I’m looking forward to hearing more from her. Check out Fever below.
