Missy Bauman is an acoustic performer from Canada who’s new piano track H.I.M. has us enchanted.

H.I.M. starts out quiet and folksy, a little reminiscent of Joanna Newsom, before a melodic chorus sets Missy apart from all comparisons. Her delicate vocals are beautifully harmonised in the chorus.

Missy Bauman is already building a following in her native Canada, having shared stages with Feist, Bahamas, Kathleen Edwards and the Arkells. I suspect she’ll have a few fans this side of the pond too based on the beauty of H.I.M. Check out the track below.
