Teddy Thompson releases new track and Leeds date

Teddy Thompson releases a soulful new track, At A Light, taken from his eagerly anticipated forthcoming album, Heartbreaker Please, out May 8th on Thirty Tigers. He spends most of May on the road in the UK, first as special guest to John Grant, and then on an 11-date headline tour including a must-see show at London’s EartH on June 2nd.

Written and produced by Teddy, At A Light fits snugly into the album’s skewed look at love and heartbreak. Teddy describes the song as, “a rye take on the ‘you’re gonna miss me when I’m gone’ theme. Unfortunately it turns out she didn’t, and is living happily with her new fella in New Jersey.”

He will perform at the Brudenell Social Club in Leeds on May 31st.
