Youth Sector are a Brighton-based indie pop band whose new track No Fanfare I wanted to trumpet.
By Graeme Smith
No Fanfare combines uptempo modern edge with dyed-in-the-wool ’80s nostalgia. Fans of the likes of Devo will find an immediate affection for Youth Sector due to their staccato vocal delivery and mesmerising guitar and drum rhythms. No Fanfare is a track for the indie disco, no mistake.
The band created the song as an ode to the frustrations of every day life and really to me it sounds like an escape. Youth Sector are a band with a growing reputation. It feels like a track like this could really blow up. Check out No Fanfare below.
