Moderation is the third track we’ve shared from up and coming American bedroom pop artist Chloe Lilac.

Over the past few months we’ve really been getting into Chloe Lilac’s sound. From Jane’s share of her video Here’s Your Song to me running the rule over her track Obvious last month. Moderation continues our fandom for her. It’s a rock-n-roll form of bedroom pop, dominated by an electric guitar riff and Chloe’s attitude-filled vocals.
What captured me most about Moderation is the lyrics in the chorus, particularly the line “somewhere in between ecstasy and suicide.” It’s a perfect line for the emo generation.
The accompanying video is yet another example of an artist getting creative while in lockdown. You can check it out below.
