Mannequin Online are an American pop rock duo whose new track I Want It holds a mirror the modern consumerist world.

Though thematically I Want It is very much anchored in the modern day, musically Mannequin Online sound like they could have come straight out of the early ’00s. I get hints of The Hives, Strokes, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, basically anything from those indie rock golden days, from their music. The chorus chants “I want it”, then comes the funky breakdown. There’s such an energy in I Want It and its infectious.
