Nana’s music has a funky, understated style in No Room. The song marches along, looping, a reflection of the monotony of life she describes with delicate vocals.
Nana floats through the video, occupying a household space juxtaposed with an outdoor background. Her family asks her questions about her life and dispense with advice that has not been requested. It speaks to the frustration of youth, wanting to forge your own path but held down by the weight of expectation.
No Room is a wonderfully sympathetic track that I know I’ll keep coming back to. I hope you enjoy it too. Check out the video below.
