It’s not often the humble ukulele features in an electro pop song but that’s exactly what we get in American producer Max Fry’s latest effort Take It Slow.

As the name suggests, Take It Slow is a chilled affair. The ukulele gives it a folky feel while bassy synths place the track firmly in the electro pop category. Delicate vocals come courtesy of Canadian singer songwriter Lhasa Petik.
It’s a track that’s easy to love and a great introduction for us to Max’s music. Hailing from Jacksonville, Florida, he’s been making his unique brand of music for five years. Check out Take It Slow below. It’s the perfect soundtrack to a hot summer afternoon.
