Canadian bedroom pop act daysormay describe Running as a “self-audit” and it’s the confessional nature, sung with an easy melody that caught my attention.

The acoustic version of Running features daysormay’s singer Aidan Andrews accompanying himself on guitar. A simple, intimate video sees the singer stood before a large blue tarp draped over a rail. The lack of bells and whistles means his vocals and lyrics take centre stage. A shrewd move because it’s what he’s singing and how he’s singing it that really makes Running.
Daysormay usually perform as a group so this acoustic solo track is something of a departure from their regular sound. You can check out the video below.
