Alias is a bedroom pop artist who has created a quirky, modern version of his father’s song to his mother.

Originally written by Alias’s father Brad Mitchell, I’m Gonna Live is a lament following the end of a relationship. This emotion comes through strong and true in Alias’s version while it’s been brought up to date with echoing keys, looping percussion and mournful strings.
Alias covered his father’s track because he felt that Brad never got the recognition he deserved from his music. I agree. I’m Gonna Live is a beautifully written and heartfelt song which deserves a bigger audience. You can check it out below.
