Mully & Sculder are a Canadian post-punk duo whose new track Heartbreaking explores the concept of how what we love can also harm us.

A spoonerism of the famous duo from The X-Files, Mully & Sculder draw their inspiration from their hometown of Vancouver, a location where much of the TV show was filmed. Their version of Vancouver is brooding and atmospheric with the occasional high-note like one of the city’s skyscrapers.
Heartbreaking is hypnotic bass and drum punctured by singer songwriter Sarah Wheeler’s strained vocals. You really feel her heart breaking as she delivers the chorus. It’s a great introduction to the band and I hope you enjoy it as much as I have. Check it out below.
