There has been a lot of music released this year inspired by the oddities of 2020 but none have captured the mood quite as succinctly as Natalie Gelman.

Her new track, simple titled 2020, is an appropriate farewell to the year that wasn’t. In a folksy-pop style a little reminiscent of Taylor Swift, Natalie calls out Covid deniers while self-deprecatingly spelling out her own plans that have been derailed. It’s all wrapped up into an earworm chorus that you’ll sing into the new year.

Born and raised in New York City, Natalie has been writing songs since the age of sixteen. She’s already toured Europe once and here’s hoping she gets to return soon. Check out 2020 below.
