Mountain Man is a folk track that also includes elements of Americana, bluegrass and country music. The guitar melody is very pretty and works very well with Annabel’s soft vocal style. Lyrically, the track is about Annabel’s cousin and her ex-boyfriend who broke up despite seeming like the perfect couple.
