Mansfield are a Danish indie rock band with something of a Britpop sound to their music – Please, Shine A Light is their latest single to be released.

The track is a typical indie rock song, although the Britpop sound is also a welcome addition – it’s also something that’s quite rare in music produced outside of the UK. The chorus has an anthemic quality to it and is very catchy, whereas the verses manage to maintain more of a rock swagger, showing a band that can do different styles with ease. Lyrically, the song is about delving outside of your comfort zone and doing something different, which is a theme we can get behind with gusto! Check the video out below and see what you think!
