slowthai Announces Leeds Tour Date

On Friday, slowthai released his second album TYRON to widespread, global critical acclaim. He has also recently shared a video for album track VEX.

In this continuation on the horror movie theme, VEX finds slowthai serving up questionable “beef” burgers in the Troglodyte Bites Diner.

IN MORE EXCITING NEWS – slowthai has also announced a sweaty & sticky floored live tour for September. Termed the SOMETHING TO LOOK FORWARD TO tour in support of small venues, slowthai will return to some if those he played pre-Nothing Great About Britain. COVID safety pending, he will run through Glasgow, Leeds, Birmingham, Oxford, Southampton and London which will find him tearing up Camden Underworld once more (a year after which, he was on the stage at Brixton Academy).

On the dates slowthai said: “I miss you all so much and we need something to look forward to so I’m taking it back to the smaller venues that need our support more than ever. LOVE YOU CAN’T WAIT TO SEE YOU IN THOSE SWEATY BOX ROOMS LET’S GET IT.”

slowthai will perform at the Brudenell Social Club in Leeds on 1st September 2021.
