The latest series of Going Underground is focussing on new EP and album releases. In this episode I chat to Mark Pearson from Anglo-American folk act Morning Bride about their new album Goodbye, Seaside Danny Wilde.
By Graeme Smith
Mark and I had a great chat about how the Yorkshire seaside town Filey inspired the album, full of stories of everyday and often forgotten people. I also learned about how difficult it is to pigeon-hole the Morning Bride sound and how its changed over the course of their three albums.
Check out the podcast below. Goodbye, Seaside Danny Wilde is out 20 March. You can also read our review of the album here.
