Video: The Great Leslie – Out Of My Hands

The Great Leslie are an alternative rock act based in Woodford Green, Greater London. Their new video Out Of My Hands caught my ear with its catchy melody and storytelling lyrics.

We’ve all been there. We can all prove to be our own worst enemy. The Great Leslie explore this with Out Of My Hands. There are stories of drinking too much, embarrassing themselves and hurting others feelings. There’s a refreshing honesty to the confessions, and an acknowledgement that, though they ought to try to get better, there’s no sense beating themselves up.

The message is well delivered by strong and charismatic vocals, singalong refrains and explosive guitars. Fans of indie bands like Catfish & The Bottlemen and York’s own The Howl And The Hum will dig what The Great Leslie are doing. Check out the video for Out Of My Hands below.
