Fousheé is an R&B singer songwriter from the US who is a rising star of Tik Tok. She’s teamed up with the legendary rapper Lil Wayne for her new track and video Gold Fronts.

In Gold Fronts Fousheé has a unique, almost listless delivery. Accompanying herself with a simple, plucked electric guitar melody, she eases breathily through her tale. There’s a depth to the story, a sense of being overwhelmed by the inequality of modern America, and finding power where you can.

Lil Wayne joins in the second half to deliver a verse in his characteristic style. All the while, the instrumentals remain at a minimum in a way that has you leaning in.
