Erawan is a folk pop singer songwriter from London whose new atmospheric and experimental track Touch Me caught my ear.
By Graeme Smith
Touch Me is a song that comes in waves. Quiet interludes where the vocals are almost whispered give way to sweeping crescendos where the vocals are at full tilt, accompanied by a waltzing piano melody. I was reminded of other artists who pushed boundaries as a listened – especially Kate Bush and Tori Amos.
Erawan, real name Hattie Marsh, calls London her home. She has toured extensively and has even played a show at the behest of the The Cure’s Robert Smith.
