Comedian Mark Watson Comes to PAC Next Year

Acclaimed stand-up comedian Mark Watson will be live at Pocklington Arts Centre (PAC) early next year in what will be his third show at the award-winning venue to date.

Watson, known for numerous TV appearances including Taskmaster, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Have I Got News For You and surviving Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls, will be live at PAC on Saturday 12 February, 8pm.

PAC Director, Janet Farmer, said: “It will be an absolute joy to welcome Mark Watson back to the venue. We had him perform live at PAC in 2016 and again in 2019. After the year we have just had, I think we could all do with some laughter, so Mark is the perfect addition to our forthcoming programme of live comedy.”

During lockdown Mark joined Your Place Comedy, performing live online from his living room, as part of the project to support independent venues across the Yorkshire and Humber region, including PAC.

Spiritual enquiry meets high-octane observational comedy as the Taskmaster survivor, multi-award winner and No More Jockeys cult leader attempts to cram a couple of years of pathological overthinking into an evening of stand-up.

Tickets for Mark Watson live at PAC on Saturday 12 February, 8pm are £20 each on sale now at or via See Tickets at
