Melody Mortal is an American pop rock artist whose new track O’ Lover is intended to be the ultimate anti-love song.

With lyrics full of gruesome death and torture, O’ Lover is not for the faint-hearted. Yet, the horror of its lyrics are made more palatable by the track’s lively and upbeat instrumentals which draw from blues, rock and pop. Melody gives it her all in the vocals and the energy is infectious, even if I might not want to meet her in a dark alley.
Born and raised in New York, Melody grew up on a diet of hair metal and opera. That might explain the drama and energy in O’ Lover. You can check it out below.
