Reap What You Sow is the latest track from York-based singer songwriter Rachel Croft and it takes her music in quite a different direction.

With moody, bluesy instrumentals, including marching percussion and electric guitar riffs, Rachel has taken her sound far from her acoustic roots in Reap What You Sow. It works for her though. Her voice, though still delicately charismatic, takes on a vengeful air and the emotion is powerful.
The track is the first single to be released from Rachel’s forthcoming EP of the same name. The track selection on the EP represent the passing of a storm and the single represents the brooding, oppressive phase before the storm breaks. I, for one, can’t wait to hear the rest of the story.
