H3rizon are an pop trio based out of Sydney, Australia who take their cues from the likes of Destiny’s Child, Ariana Grande and Little Mix. Their vibrant new track and video Serious caught my attention.

In many ways, Serious gives you all you ever want from a girl group. Smooth vocal harmonies, sultry beats and a big singalong chorus. Sometimes, you need nothing more than that. H3rizon deliver it all with such energy and charisma though, you can’t take your eyes off them. The video, which parodies morning talk shows, is beautifully produced with just the right amount of humour.
The trio of Bernie, Taya and Gabby were all born in Australia, but have Filipino and Mauritian heritage and are keen to increase the representation of women of colour in the western media. And the audience is clearly calling out for it, as the girls have racked up some impressive stats on their socials and on streaming platforms.
