Darrian Gerard is a pop rock singer songwriter from British Columbia, Canada. Her new track tells the story of a breakup, avoiding all the usual clichés. It’s called I’m Not Sorry.
By Graeme Smith
As you might guess from the title, Darrian’s new track is an unapologetic anthem and it’s delivered through big guitar riffs and spirited vocals. The storytelling verse give way to a singalong chorus that will give anyone energy, but especially the recently broken-hearted.
Having been playing music since the age of seven, Darrian finds inspiration from artists like Avril Lavigne, Blink-182 and Alanis Morrissette. Fiercely independent, she wrote, recorded and produced I’m Not Sorry. She even plays all the instruments herself.
