Theo Bard is a electronic pop artist based in London who has a simple answer to impending self-imposed technological doom – Jump!
By Graeme Smith
I love the combination of esoterical lyrics and lively, jazzy electronica in Jump. The beat is bouncing, the sax (by featured artist Ewan Bleach) is flashy and the vocals are understated. In relentless verses, Theo delves into the murky, sinister world of modern technology and shrugs it all off in favour of something a little more human.
Although based here in the UK, Theo became something a viral sensation in Italy when his track Breath featured on Italian TV programme Propaganda Live last year. I love his fresh approach to music. He’s certainly one to watch.
Check out Jump below and be sure to stick around for its big, surprise ending.
