Light As The Moon is a track that’s perfectly-titled. Gentle, raising, and spatial, Marianne’s comparison of her mother to an astral body is mirrored perfectly through the instrumentals. Her vocals, too, are beautifully delicate, and reminiscent of fellow Scandinavian, Yukimi Nagano of Swedish band Little Dragon.
With her debut album on the way, it feels the right time for Marianne’s to start getting some international attention. You can consider me as part of her growing fanbase.
