Grace Christiansen is a Hull-based singer songwriter who takes her cues from the likes of Lucy Rose and Phoebe Bridgers. Her new track is the perfect antidote for the dark days of autumn. It’s called Summertime.
By Graeme Smith
Summertime is the type of gentle track you can let wash over you. Delicately plucked guitar set the scene before Grace’s angelic vocals float in. At its heart, it’s a love song, and that love is explored through imagery and metaphor that will have you wanting to head to a beach somewhere warm.
Though Grace is new to us, Summertime is associated with artists and projects we’ve featured before. It was produced by Dan Spooner, who’s worked with Jack Conman. Grace was also part of the Three Minute Heroes project we covered last year.
I certainly look forward to hearing more from Grace and I hope you like her too. Check out Summertime below.
