Zoë Zohar is an alternative pop artist from London whose dramatic new track Numb caught my attention.

Numb is a fine example of lush, emotive pop. Self-described as a “post-apocalyptic power song”, there is certainly a touch of the cinematic to the composition, especially its big, layered chorus within which Zoë pours her heart out. There’s plenty of room for surprises too, especially during an unexpected breakdown just before the track’s epic finish.
Originally from Israel, Zoë has a mixed South African and Israeli heritage. She now calls the UK home and we’re glad to have her. Numb is taken from her upcoming debut EP AmIAlive, which is due for release later this year. You can check out the single below.
