Willow Woodward is an American singer songwriter who has recently hit my radar through her ode to summer love, Fade.
By Graeme Smith
Fade has a classic folk-pop feel to it and Willow brings her story to life through vivid lyrical detail. It’s enough to warm your heart on a cold November day, and have you nostalgic for sunny days and young love. The icing on the cake is Willow’s soft and beautiful vocals.
Still early in her career, Fade is a wonderful introduction to Willow’s music. I think she has what it takes to make it big in the pop world and her sound reminds me a little of early Taylor Swift. If that sounds good to you, check out Fade below. It’s taken from her new EP Daybreak which is out now.
