Taipei, real name Henrik Sundström, is a bedroom pop artist from Fiskars, Finland whose new track RAD I/O was born from experimentation.

RAD I/O is the product of Henrik trying autotune on his vocals for the first time. It’s a much-maligned technique, mainly because it is often overused, but when done right, it can be very effective. Blending into the percussive, jazzy and electronic soundscape of RAD I/O, it works really well, giving the whole piece an otherworldly feel.
Taipei has such a fresh and innovative feel that I feel I could easily get lost in. Definitely check him out if you love ambient electro. You can hear RAD I/O below.
