Though new to us, St. Ives-based Bailey Tomkinson has already been making waves on the UK scene. With coverage in national newspapers and previous chart-topping releases, Bailey has already been marked out as one to watch. Her new single is called Skin.

In Skin, Bailey takes on the subject of a friendship that’s hit the rocks, and it’s beautifully told through descriptive lyrics, her beautiful vocals and a musical arrangement that starts stripped back but gradually builds. It’s acoustic pop at its best.
Among Bailey’s influences are Sam Fender, Bruce Springsteen and Phoebe Bridgers, as well as Taylor Swift, who she’s been described as the “Britain’s answer” to by Brad Paisley. Fans of any of those artists will find a lot to love in Skin. You can check it out below.
