Luke Royalty is a British bedroom pop and alternative hip hop artist whose nostalgic new track Blue Peter caught my attention.

Blue Peter layers ambient sound with stripped-back acoustic guitar and a hip-hop style vocal delivery. It all adds up to something that feels very unique. Perhaps most ear-catching though was the track’s lyrics, drawing on themes of the brightness of childhood contrasted by the melancholy of adulthood. It’s all tied together with a chorus that will stick with you.
