To The Shelter is a song that doesn’t fit nicely into any particular genre. With a quiet intro that includes electronic elements, the ambience gives way to synths, vocal harmonies and cinematic elements. Then, rock elements hit hard, with scuzzy guitar chords and industrial overtones. It all feels so refreshingly original while remaining eminently relatable.
Klashing Black are twin brothers Kane and Kyle Benner. Having been creating music together since childhood, they launched their act properly in 2017, taking inspiration from the likes of The 1975, Coldplay and Twenty One Pilots. I, for one, am certainly looking forward to hearing more from them. I hope you’ll agree. You can check out To The Shelter below.
