Jone Lindman & Andreas Grannes are a pair of folk pop musicians who hail from Haugesund, Norway. They’ve come together to record a beautifully energetic track that has caught my ear. It’s called Letters.
By Graeme Smith
The track opens with lively acoustic guitar and gentle percussion. Touches of bass add depth while Andreas passionate vocals make the whole story feel very relatable. Its emotion will stay with you, as will its catchy melody.
Jone and Andreas have tried, and failed, to form a band together for twelve years, inspired by the likes of Bon Iver, Dermot Kennedy and Sufjan Stevens. Now they’ve finally managed to record a track together and I, for one, am grateful they have. You can give Letters a listen below.
And if you like your music on the acoustic side, be sure to follow our Raw Stuff playlist on Spotify.
