Issac Neilson is a Buxton-based alternative rock artist who has been working with artists in studios for years. He’s now released his own debut single, exploring the concepts of nostalgia and inertia. It’s called The Fall.

It’s a track that instantly grabs you with its strong atmosphere. Long, echoing lonesome notes suggest country melancholia, but there are elements of psych mixed in, and Issac’s vocal delivery feels indie rock. Suffice to say, it’s a track that’s difficult to label genre-wise but it hardly matters when it is so immediately arresting.
The Fall truly is a stunning debut from an artist who clearly knows what he’s doing when it comes to making music. I look forward to hearing more from him. You can check out the track below.
