The intimacy of Baths is unsurprising but nonetheless captivating. Ella’s attention to detail brings her thoughts and feelings to life, and as a consequence, the listener feels privileged to be invited into her private world. The story unfolds against a backdrop of soft percussion and acoustic guitar while Ella’s vocals are gentle but full of understated power.
Ella describes her sound as “slow-walking, flower-smelling, dark folk” and I don’t think I could describe it better myself. She’s certainly one I’ll be keeping an eye on. I hope you enjoy Baths as much as did. You can check it out below.
