Apricot Ink are a Canberra, Australia-based pop trio who first caught my attention at the end of last year through their sultry track Usually. Now they’re back on the blog with a new one. It’s called Call Me Good.
By Graeme Smith
Call Me Good takes up where Usually left off in terms of sultriness. Speaking of sexual liberation, it explores spicing it up in the bedroom through imagery and a flirty groove that won’t quit. The vocals are soft and seductive, rich with character, particularly during a perky chorus.
It’s another wonder from Gus, Sara and Willo, the trio who make up Apricot Ink. You can give Call Me Good a listen below.
