Emmrose is a New York, USA-based indie pop singer songwriter who has just released a timely track exploring the use of disinformation and how it can lead to dystopia. Though she wrote it last year, the echoes you can hear it in from the Ukraine war are profound. It’s called Brave New World.

Opening with a lonely, ominous tone, Emmrose delivers poetic lyrics with beautiful delicateness. As the first verse progresses, the tempo picks up, suggesting an urgent need for change. Then, the chorus hits the message home – never be too quick to believe what you want to.
Emmrose’s song writing is inspired by her studies at University, and classic literature by George Orwell and Aldous Huxley. She’s certainly a strong, new voice on our radar and I’ll be watching her career with interest.
