Little Jet are a Los Angeles, USA-based indie pop duo who have caught my attention through their deep, dreamy and eponymous second single from their forthcoming debut EP Cabin Fever.

Little Jet tells the story of missing a plane. Something that is usually met by annoyance is transformed into a piece of brooding philosophy, speaking to themes of impermanence and fate. There’s a suitably floaty feel to it, with an instrumental arrangement that melds acoustic guitar and electronic sequences. Little Jets two members share the vocals, creating a wonderful sense of texture.
Formed around a mutual love for ’00s melancholia and ’60s psychedelia, Little Jet have devoted their time in post-COVID lockdown to travelling and piecing together their EP. Based on this evidence, it’s going to be a corker.
