Lou Emery is a Los Angeles, USA-based singer songwriter who we’ve featured before on the blog. Back in May, I was caught by her catchy single Instinctual. Now she’s back with a new, groovy R&B one. It’s called Wish.

Wish is driven by a memorable piano melody against which the track’s story unfolds. It’s an exploration of a stage of love not often discussed in music. A relationship isn’t new, it isn’t over, but it’s in its difficult middle – and the warning signs are starting to show. Lou’s beautiful vocals bring the emotion and soar during an earworm chorus.
