New Music: The Thing With Feathers – Don’t Break My Heart

The Thing With Feathers are a Nashville, USA-based indie pop band who featured a couple of times before on our blog at the end of last year and the start of this one. Now they’re back with a new piece of classic rock. It’s called Don’t Break My Heart.

Don’t Break My Heart starts with a kicking guitar riff. Bass and drums join in, as do the soulful vocals of frontman David Welcsh. There’s just something so complete sounding about this track. Not a single element is out of place and that guitar riff with stay with you long after the last note is played. It could well prove to be their breakout song.

Fans of Coldplay, The Strokes and The 1975 will find a lot to love in The Thing With Feather’s sound. Don’t Break My Heart is the first single release from their forthcoming second EP. You can check it out below.
