Kairiko is an Irish jazz project – I don’t normally listen to much jazz music, but when it’s this good, how could I not?!

Black Sparrow starts out with an eerie saxophone melody – the saxophone is the main instrument of the piece, running through the music as a vocal line would, making it sound very distinctive. Over time, percussion, bass and a twinkling piano are added, building the music up into something very danceable. It’s a really groovy piece of music, and one well worth your time!
