Shape is a new release from Sam Wright, an American singer-songwriter and musician that we’ve somehow overlooked in the past.

Shape is quite an interesting song in terms of genre, as there’s so much going on here! It’s definitely an indie pop tune, but there are also elements of classic rock, modern rock and psychedelia thrown in there for good measure! The song is really upbeat, with a great percussive section and some cool guitar solos that appear every so often – the vocals sound distant, but the effect actually suits the style of track well!
