New Music: Le Days – End of Everything

Le Days is a Varberg, Sweden-based experimental artist who first came to my attention at the beginning of this year and I’ve been following his music with interest ever since. His latest speaks of finding a way through when it all becomes too much. It’s called End of Everything.

By Graeme Smith

End of Everything starts in the characteristically melancholic and atmospheric way I’ve come to expect from Le Days. Bass notes rumble under a looping piano refrain that invokes a feeling of being lost or trapped. The piece proceeds slowly, deliberately, never letting go of its strong emotional landscape while suggesting progression through its subtle changes. It’s powerful stuff.

Le Days really is a special musician. You can check out End of Everything for yourself below.
