I’ve shared music by Alex Opal before but not since 2019. I’m glad to say he’s back, this time performing under the name The Alex Opal Outfit, alongside his seven-piece funk and soul band. Their latest is called I Don’t Mind.

I Don’t Mind is a vibrant piece that will get you dancing while also warming your heart. It’s beautifully-performed through soulful vocal harmonies, lively percussion and bright moments of brass. Alex’s mission is to create a new genre that mixes traditional soul music with the influences of his North-East England location and he certainly achieves that with I Don’t Mind.
