The Thing With Feathers is a Nashville, USA-based rock band who have featured a few times on the blog since we first found out about them at the end of last year. Their latest takes on the bitter period after the end of a relationship and it’s called Waste My Revenge.

Waste My Revenge starts with a powerful, emotive guitar riff and brooding chords. It all builds up to a chorus in which the emotion overflows. The lyrics seethe, painting a messy picture that can only come with heartbreak. Through it all, though, is a memorable, pop rock arrangement that dares you to sing along.
