Tyler Elden is a New Jersey, USA-based alternative rock singer songwriter whose sound ranges from the intimately acoustic to something more akin to 2000s post hardcore. His latest track falls somewhere between to the two extremes. It’s called Fallen Idol.

Fallen Idol has some lively and epic guitar riffs, but it has a melodic core to it. Tyler’s vocals are beautifully expressive, he practically purrs out the verses before hitting a soaring and emotive chorus. It’s such a complex track, there’s something for everyone to love about it.
If you were a emo kid in the early 2000s, Fallen Idol is a must-listen. If you weren’t, you should still give it a go. It’s a shining example of what you get when someone throws their all into their music. The track is simply a joy to listen to. You can check it out below.
