New Jersey, USA-based rock singer songwriter Tyler Elden first hit our radar in October last year but has become a regular feature since then. We’ve featured him no less than eight times, and this is now the ninth courtesy of the first release from his upcoming EP. It’s called Lighthouse.
By Graeme Smith
Lighthouse is an exciting mix of ambient, indie rock, and post hardcore all delivered through Tyler’s characteristic style, with passion and emotional vocals. There’s a touch of classic rock about it, but it’s jangly-ness gives it a modern edge. Lyrics speak of alienation and reflection. It’s the perfect soundtrack for a good brood.
If you’ve not been able to check out any of Tyler’s other tracks we’ve shared, then this is the perfect chance for you to discover him, particularly if you’re a fan of ’00s indie rock like Death Cab For Cutie.
